(Nudist Camp Zombie Massacre
is a horror/comedy film (currently in production) by Tim Davis featuring
the work of many talented volunteer actors, artists and crew.)
Nudist Camp Zombie Massacre was born after I had accepted a job as a 2nd
unit director on the low budget indie flick Zombie Love Slave being shot by Joe
Sherlock in Oregon. I was 2nd unit director on his film Odd Noggins shooting a
great deal of it in
Alabama featuring Kimberly Lynn Cole. He had a novel way of shooting a movie by delegating portions of the movie to directors across the country then editing it all together. I was fortunate that the bulk of my footage was used, even outakes and footage on the tape not meant for him ended up in the movie. He is an imaginative editor.

In 2004 I was supposed to
shoot the opening of Zombie Love Slave because of my skills as a film maker
plus I am good at wrangling attractive model/actresses to do shower scenes which
are the staple of B-movies and finally I have a background doing special
effects make-up which all good zombies movies need.
After a handful of attempt to shoot the scene which all had to be put off or
cancelled due to a bad year I was having medically Joe had to release me from
the project and come up with a different opening to his film. He told me to
go recover but because of all the work I had put into the scene I could have
the intellectual rights to it.
I decided there that I could write an entire movie around this idea for an
opening and I switched it to an ending, thus Nudist Camp Zombie Massacre was
born.
I combined my interest in the grind house cinema 1960's and 70's nudist
camp and busty stripper reels and cheesy zombie flicks. Another huge influence
were the campy monster on the loose horror movies shot by Baltimore indie
director Don Dohler in the 70's. Alien Factor has always been a big influence
on me. that and the Planet of the Apes movies were the reason I got into
make-up effects and film making.
